anyone in socal wanna trade their stock exhaust plus $250 for a magnaflow catback?

just want to run the stock exhaust trade plus cash for my 2 month old magnaflow?

 

why do you want to return to stock? where are you located?

 

im in long beach, im old and drive up to the mountains alot and i just want a stock sound.

 

I am in SoCal and have my stock take-off exhaust. I already replaced it with the Magnaflow though. If you're interested in buying the stock one, let me know!

I had the magnaflow on my 2nd gen and loved it! Have a 3rd gen now and so long as its not anymore obnoxious that the 2nd gen one I'd love to swap you for my stock + $250.

I'm in San Diego though and going to the Ocotillo Wells meetup this weekend. So I wouldn't be able to make it up for another week or two. Or are you planning on being in san diego anytime soon?

 

How do you like the sound of the magnaflow?? Loved it on my old second gen just not sure how it sounds with the new 3.5

 

I dont think the motors sound all too different under screaming, the high output v6 sounds a little more strained on the top end. Its sounds good, just louder than I want anymore.

 

I dont have any plans for being down in SD, but im in no real rush.

 

Well if someone doesn't come swoop them sooner I could head up on Sunday the 30th and do the swap, I'll stay in touch!

Reminds me of when I put dual Magnaflow's on a 2000 Mustang GT I had. Sounded really good...for about a couple of months. Then, it started to annoy the heck out of me. it would resonate from 65 to 70 mph and it was so loud it would drown any sound from the radio. I wish I would have kept the original exhaust, but it was long gone. Another reason why I try to keep my vehicles stock. Simply to avoid other problems. They always happen no matter what.
