Finally got out to use the wildernest last weekend, held up great in some pretty heavy winds down on Medano Pass.

 

Yea I almost settled on stock steelies but found these for a steal on Craigslist last night. Off of a 02 4R. Looks like 4-4.25 back spacing. Just gotta clean em up and paint. I think I'll be happy with them.

That tree cluster looks like campsite 1.8, right where the fire ring and bear box are.

 

Unfortunately we got 1.9 as we didn't get down there until late afternoon and there was another taco at 1.8- definitely looked like the best spot of the whole trail.
