Get it!!!!!! You will not be disappointed! The ARB is designed to deflect the animal under and to the side of the vehicle. Want to see what happens to a FJ Cruiser that tags a deer at 60mph?

Shop around though you might be able to find it cheaper. TRDParts4u has them for $800

That is one nice bumper I have the older one on my 08. And I got it for the same reason but have not hit any deer with it yet. Mine did not come with the foglights though. So when you get yours I will trade ya, but you half to get the 8000 or 9000 lb winch and IPF lights with it. HAHA:D
But this I I think is one of the best bumpers out there IMO.

So the ARB will annihilate animals / people (jk). What are the repercussions of getting in a front end accident with another car. Less damage to you, more to the other car?

Ironpigoffroad.com had a big sale.. free shipping even. I hear they are 6 weeks behind now on orders. I got mine, and just got it from the shop today after hitting a deer with the stock bumper doing 75...

this is on serious freaking bumper.. lowered my front suspension almost 3/4" with 886 coils! I got the newer one with the fogs.. I am not sure about it yet. It appears if the foglamp stops working/bulb goes out.. you have to change the WHOLE Lamp/bulb.. 80$ a pair.. do you think that is a fair deal?

so far, I am in love.. need a winch and some bigger lights to mount on it. Curious thing.. I don't actually need the lights to see, but everyone seems to have them and I guess it is the norm. Do you feel like you stock headlights really aren't enough? just curious.. post a linky if you know where I can score a good deal on Lights.. THANKs!

EDIT.. if you "think" you might hit a deer.. just get it. $4,500 worth of body damage later, I have learned my lesson.

These are pretty sweet and I've heard nothing but good about ARB bumpers! How hard is the installation? I'm looking at possibly getting one in the near future.

It's not hard but takes a couple of people due to the weight of the bumper. I had one on my FJ and loved it.

    just a couple comfort items.
I bought one off craigslist with a warn 9000 xp winch and like it a lot. Installation was easy, did it by myself. It has been bounced off rocks buried in dirt slopes and even tapped a few trees with no damage except to the finish. As far as deer I think it would fair pretty well but at 60 you better be ducking because that carcass is coming right thru the windshield!

I am eventually going to get one. Around here in San Diego. I have to park my taco in the street and people don't know how to parallel park here. So they always scrape my bumpers.
