Did you only do the Bilstein's with stock coils or did you add coils and a AAL in the rear?

I had to do a little trimming, and the cab mount chop. 285's will always rub. At least off road. wheels are the TRD bead locks.

Hard to decide between 887 and 888. Looks great.
    end up doing new UCA's?

Trying to decide between ome, boss and icon. Boss 2.0 out of stock and icon might be a waste for me. These ome setups look good.

Is that a true TRD pro that you replaced the suspension with 5100's? If so....WHY?!?!?!?!

I did so much research between OME and BOSS it made me sick. Icon would have been a no brainier, but a waste of money for me. Neither Kit gave me the full height i desired without having to add 1" blocks. I went with 5100's and 887 coils and it is the perfect height to fit 33" tires. Rubbing less than 1% of the time (full turn hitting the bump going into my driveway).

    Appreciate some advice.

I was thinking of gett'n a leveling kit, cost around $525 locally, checked with two local shops.

Or should I go with 5100s?

I know there's a big price increase, but I'm thinking the ride with a leveling kit will be much harder.

I WILL NOT BE OFF ROADING THE TRUCK

This is strictly for looks, and a smoother/safe ride.

Not look'n for a Huge Lift, maybe 2-2.5 front and 1" rear.

    I will have BFG K02s 265/70R17s

So......if I end up going with 5100 kit, what kit would be best? (I looked at their site and they have a range of kits, depending if u go all around or spacers/blocks in the rear, I don't know what's best)

Also what would the kit cost? I know the biggest expense is the install labor.

    Thanks
    Norma

go to www.headstrongoffroad.com they will get you the best deal and are extremely knowledgable. id do the 5100's all around with a AAL in the rear and a OME coil up front but since you are only going to be on the road a spacer leveling kit like the one you said is 525 will be more than sufficient. what brand is it.

ReadyLift is what both shops said they use. One shop called them because they did have an issue with those on the OR models. Think he said driveshaft vibration.

I'll checkout the link you posted

So you think a leveling kit is sufficient. What about ride quality?
    Thanks

no skid plate, no rigid fogs, no badge and it looks like it's inferno. Why would you think it's a Pro?

Didn't have to use any blocks since I went with the 5100 kit from headstrong. The OME and Toytec Boss are only a 2" lift and you can achieve 3" by adding a block. This is not something I wanted to mess with so I went with the 5100's and 887 coils with AAL. Saved me a few hundred dollars in the end and am happy with the results.

Are you going with AAL in the rear or the Dakars? I want to do the 888's with Dakars to fit 285/75/16. Are you going to measure pre and post lift?

What setting do you have your 5100s at with the 887 coils and how much lift did you get over stock?

Still using the stock UCAs. Got the alignment in acceptable specs. It rides fine. I will be upgrading UCAs soon though for a lil' more adjustment.

It's not. Look at the headlights and fogs. Also, he was referring to the PRO grille when he said "..finally got these in..." and possibly the 5100's as well.
