Anyone ever consider installing an electronic air horn in their trucks?

I've got an amp with just the air horn stutter tone on order. It'll drive a 100W siren/PA speaker.

Thinking about swapping the horn to trigger a relay that would switch on the amp and drive the speaker.

I'll also be adding a toggle switch so I can maintain the factory horn and toggle on to the air horn while using the wheel to activate either depending on the position of the toggle switch.

Parts should be in some time next week, I'll post up my installation and progress.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    Why not a train horn?

For whatever reason, I like the BWAAAAA tone of the Ambulance/Cop cars. Cheaper overall too.

I wanted a train horn. Then I looked at one close up, they're 4 to 5 feet long. Where would I get enough air to blow it?

    worse, Toronto.
Where one of the main streets through the downtown core was shut down for 3 days to put in bike lanes and reduce it to 1 lane each way for cars.
The city where a cyclist can hit an old lady with his bike and actually kill her then just ride away and not be caught. (seriously just happened a few weeks ago)
This city is a fuckin joke when it comes to cyclist.

I'll sell you one that plays "La Cucaracha". Bought it in Tijuana years ago but never used it...

Sounds just like Vancouver. Roads (even over bridges) are constantly being demolished for bicycle lanes that get used three months out of the year, and 9/10 cyclists are entitled degenerates that completely disregard all road rules and do whatever the hell they want.

yep. few months ago they turned bloor street into 2 lanes only.

I keep seeing all the bike lanes being painted all green too. Wonder how much money that's wasting to pain the entire fucking lane green.
They get away with whatever the hell they please here too.
No lights after dusk or before sunrise so its so difficult to see them.
Don't stop for stop signs or red lights I see so many of them just start going when there's an advanced green no concern at all for how much they slow down traffic flow.

Should hear the new one for toronto city hall lol.

We can't build anymore condos because then our dated transit system will be overloaded with the increase in population...yet the TTC hasn't changed since 1974. Largest city in canada, 4th largest in north america...only two subway lines lol.
