That is the only thing I miss about not getting service done at dealer. I use to like to look at what they had on the lot. Funny thing is last time I was there I looked at a tTundra Pro. Never been much of a leather guy so I thought nice truck but not for me. Now I want one and will probably be my next buy.

the .ca site looks like webpages from the 90s :p wouldn't surprise me they just enter the wrong info for the Pro package, but then again they always screw the Canucks on car/truck models.

You're not kidding. The Toyota.ca site is garbage (especially compared to Audi.ca - I've driven Audis for almost 20 yrs.)

Yes, I'm hopeful that it is just a shitty data entry job by someone that has no idea about what information is important to a buyer of this kind of vehicle.

Here you guys go. It's a video with Toyota's Chief Engineer speaking to the Pro's attributes.

    Man, what a great truck!

I'm 99% sure that is simply because the site hasn't been fully updated. Mike (dealer from Alberta) put up this video and it shows fox shocks:

I negotiated a deal and finalized the out the door price before my dealer requested an allocation. I also got $1,000 off of MSRP. The only catch is I'll have to wait approximately four months until delivery. I gave the dealer a $500 deposit on August 19th the day they ordered it. I ordered a Super White with automatic transmission and really no other frills. Just basic TRD Pro !

See my previous- I've talked to about 9 dealers.
    There's no order process.
The dealer may get an allocation, your order "may" secure that allocation.
Of course, the dealers manager may over rule your order given the discount if they have a panicked buyer ready to pay msrp.
I got 2 "orders" at 2 different dealers for 1-2k under msrp. 2 months, still no allocation for me... or the dealer sold to a higher bidder.
I would not count on this as a strategy of you really want one.

well learned a couple new things listening to that toy engineer, pro has wider track by 1" and beefer (30") front steering stabilizer over the OR model. I knew the suspension has it sitting 1" taller than the OR.

in fast lanes truck rodeo compare of top 5 off-road worthy trucks, surprised to hear them say 5th place rapor and 1st place pro

I was under the impression the 1" wider track was simply due to wheel offset. Although that sounds a bit suspect to me.

I'm not very mechanical. What does 1" offset mean? I thought the just put a half inch of spacer (like a stack of washers or something...but more fancy) in a here to make the "wider stance?"

thinking just the inside rim off-set? rather doubt toy would use spacer. This guy explains wheel offsets on utv wheel, same concept. they say wider stance can provide more stability.

I work for D&M Leasing in Texas. I get some good pricing on Tacoma's if you are considering a lease. Our minimum mileage is 15K per year and I can build in as many as you want. My personal lease allows for 30K a year. Our lease terms are anywhere from 3 years to 5. A TRD Pro with a $44,163 MSRP on a 51 month lease will run about $530 a month with a total out of pocket of $2000, including all taxes and fees for Texas. That same truck on a 72 month purchase at 3% is $686. This is assuming a 700+ credit score and with acceptable credit. I have a white automatic due soon.

I pay under invoice for all Toyota's I buy from my dealer.

I have a Tacoma TRD Pro in Cement color and Automatic waiting for my decision at the a local dealer. It Paint protection $598 + Toyogaurd for $699 + Dealer fee of $699.

Total is 45076.00 they will sell it to me $200 under MSRP for $43500+ Tax title and registration. Should I pull the plug.

P.S. I have $9500 trade and after all I have $37000 out the door. Is this a fair deal or I can do better?

Most guys are paying MSRP with a select few getting $100-1000 off MSRP. For a pro seems like a fair deal.
