Aside from Ken's Lake, did you guys find any promising locations near water?

    Any source of water.

The smallest stream imaginable would do.

    haha

unfortunately planning for 100+ trucks camping in the same area, limits our options

ken's lake would be nice, but i can see things going bad fast with our group...not sure it's worth the risk :/

yea that was a bonus route we discovered.

sites as large as we need aren't that lucky. but the two options weren't looking at both have some good qualities.

with betty surpassing 200k, it was about time to take the daily commute off her list of duties...

in comes the 2001 Lexus GS430

    D3AB3BBE-F4A6-49F1-95B2-670A2AF69DF7_zps_e406e5240bc69fd50b9da03f455c249b52a7abcf.jpg

she wasn't perfect, but for $3k, it was a good deal...

so far the fixes/mods have been:

replace driver side window switch/door lock/seat preset panel (was missing the passenger window lever)
replace subwoofer (OEM was cut out for amp/sub setup it looks like...unfortunately OEM wiring not hooked up, so more to be done on this)
    clean the shit outta it
new windshield going in tomorrow (current one has a large cross crack in my line of sight)
    toolset added (never know)

and thanks to denver's wonderful roads.....

    387AF042-AFB1-4D45-B578-89361E5BA345_zps_68f3f785048968f042a9e4bbabbd7f1bc6d742cc.jpg

out with the old and busted...and in with some konig runlite 17x7.5 wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus 235/45R17

    314706F0-6988-4487-B8AF-76962C8D1FF7_zps_d1075b809926cd6d5b2d75c39832544ae024b6c7.jpg

next up after the windshield will be a full vehicle fluid swap (start fresh ya know), finish the subwoofer install and new coilovers (rear is shot)
