Yes, I backed up into a rock wall and the plastic bumper was a mess. This one is steel and weighs 100+ pounds.

Not bad at all. Notice any performance gain or fuel economy increase?

Neither. The "cat back" is basically muffler only since the cats are up by the head.

Factory engine pipes actually look pretty decent, I didn't get to up close and personal inspecting them but not bad for stock. I'd like to get a little grunt out of it but I just haven't found anything that I love yet. Not a big fan of flowmaster in general but kinda curious what a 50 series would sound like.

We need an aftermarket y pipe option. That's where the most restriction is.

The gtek stock air box mod helps out with low end response

I may do the air box mod for now. I do plan to pick up the AFE intake but not for $425 Just not worth it to me and I know it'll come down in price like everything does when the hype of something new wears off. By the time my stock filter is ready to be changed, the AFE kit will have hopefully come down to a reasonable price.

I'm getting very tempted to have my good friend who is an amazing welder and has an awesome garage which he does all sorts of custom welding out of including exhaust systems, install a Flowmaster Series 50 Delta Flow muffler which you can buy for around $110 shipped online.

From what I've read on the forum from people who have installed this muffler the feedback has been pretty positive which it having a nice but not to loud a sound as well as not having a lot of resonance in the cab.

Nothing on one of these trucks sounds good. Mediocre, possibly. But not good.

Like your rims!! I so wanted silver as my first choice, but the blazing blue was available and was sitting in the showroom at the time.

Everybody has a different opinion on what sounds good. I have the MagnaFlow with afe cai with the dynamic scoop and think it sounds and performs great! Love it, especially when passing someone and kick her down, Watch out! It kicks some perverbial butt! Then again, I have tinnitus really bad, so maybe it's just the ringing in my head that I am hearing. :lalala:

Have been babying it since I got it last week. But I hit 400 miles tonight and decided the clutch was broken in enough, did a full throttle pull from 1st through 3rd. Tires actually chirped going into 2nd & traction light came on :) Truck actually has ok pickup when you floor it.
