    Still rubbing after LOTS of trimming -- here's my setup...

    TRD Sport with 2.5" Hell Bent Steel front leveling kit, rear spring TSB, Spidertrax 1.25" spacers, Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 285/70-17 tires on stock TRD sport rims. Trimmed about 6" off bottom of inner fender and clipped the edge off of the fender flare. Gotta look tomorrow at what's still rubbing but wondering if anyone with a similar setup has gotten to the point where no rubs? Mainly rubbing backing up while turning...

    unfortunately i'm only running 265/70/17 on my 07. jsut wanted to say somethign becasue you are the only other member i have heard abotu running the HBS 2.5 spacer. got mine on last weekend and love them. thruck rides a little stiffer (in a good way) and looks great with the tsb springs.


    as for the tires, i can't help much. all i know is that to my knowlege, most people on here running 285s have a full 3 inch lift and still have a fair amount of trimming....i'm sure one of them will cut in shortly. good luck :)

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    yeah...like others stated, its more than likely the cab mount. i rub it on occasion on my 3" lift w/ 285's

    I'll look at the cab mounts and see if that's where I'm rubbing. Have a mig welder and I'm not afraid to use it!

    Wonder if it's those knarly Duratracs??? Man...they are beefy...but, I'm used to looking at those fricken Dunlops!

    I did say I had the stock TRD Sport wheels so I'm thinking that I won't have enough backspacing...also, can you get 1/4" hub-centric spacers???
