Leveling kit will be a good quality ride yes on the road. Slightly stiffer in the rear but most lifts will be that way. If you aren't off-roading then the level kit or a lift like tuff country is what I'd do.

I'm on a leveling kit from Lowrange Off-road with SPC arms and 285/70/17 tires. I've gone off-roading a bunch of times now. No issues at all.

3" front, 2.5" rear Bilstein extended length shocks in the back. You really shouldn't go more than 1" on stock length rear shocks.

I keep people saying they have 5100's for 2016 Tacoma set at 1.75 in the front but checked the specs onlinE and didn't see 1.75 in. Can anyone clarify? Thanks

5100's in the front have adjustments and can be set at 0, .85, 1.75, or 2.5. However, in the process they are compressing and preloading the front coil springs while raising the height.

So by compressing the spring and adjusting the setting you can achieve 1.75 inches?

Ppl that have the 1.75 setting are running 5100s from the previous gen tacoma. The 5100s for 16/17 tacoma were just recently released and have slightly diffrent settings listed. If you are looking up 5100s for the 16 then that may be why your seeing a diffrence.

Did you try to align without uca's first or did you do it all at once? I was wondering if you were able to achieve close to correct alignment specs without them. Did you have to buy diffrent shocks for the rear?

I have been searching all morning, but with a Wheeler Progressive AAL you get about 1.5" of lift. Will they regular Bilstein 5100s be ok for that travel distance, or do I need to look at like 5125s or something like that?

I did new UCA's because i wasn't about to burn through a new set of K02's because they couldn't get alignment right at the end of the day, its close to a $40k truck so having the right parts is necessary.

Set to .85. it is right around 3" of lift once the front finishes settling in.
