Just as a heads up, Randy (@WileECoyote ) is known in the OC thread for "the wall of randy" he posts very very long posts. This whole "calling you out" thing was a misunderstanding as people tag others to include them not to call them out. He probably wanted your insight on the trail and recognized your name is all. Randy is here to help others and not cause drama. There's my two cents, take it or leave it.

 

Side note. I hope the doyers lose. After witnessing how la responded to the kings and Lakers winning anything, I honestly fear they will burn the whole city down as "celebration"

Hey @WileECoyote really do appriciate the insight on that trail bud. This will be my first going out with the TW guys/gals. Majority of my experience at ocotillo has been on dirtbikes so any info from people who've ran those trails before i'll take.

 

Well, I'm just getting caught up on all of this.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna make this trip. But you all be safe and have a great time.

 

Maybe I should chime in. Jim wasn't there. He just hell is relay info and get out. We were not over our head. I prob have more off road experience then most of you. We listened to a member that we had never wheeled with before. He specifically said that 2wd would make it DOWN the trail which I did. He said once we were down there we could drive out. Once we got down there he said he had never done the trail and he drove offf. The other guys stayed and helped me. They spent money and time to make sure I got out safe. I will be forever grateful for them and all that help d. That's what we as a community should do. If you wheel, you will get stuck. Now i can be a dick and talk shut about all the crap I see on these threads but I won't. Let's put this incident to rest now.

It's funny how nobody is pissed at the guy that said 2wd would make it, that lead us down the trail, left and took a HAM radio that he borrowed from one of us.
