Because the conditions in the training that you really should have, the ranges won't allow you to do. So you never get better at real life scenarios, unless if you go to a special class
And I don't know about you guys, but I constantly training, obviously for muscle memory and such, special classes only offer a one time condition

Doubtful that he had any service experience, with aim like that. At least I'd hope not.

Haha that's a good story! I remember when I went to this out door range there were these kids who were shooting an M4 that you could tell were bothering everyone. I had to sight in my 300 winmag that day. I of course got put next to the m4 guys, 1 bullet later they told me to let them know when I was done. Three more rounds later I had officially cleared the whole range in a span of 15 minutes. After the fourth round I had packed up and was done. I know that rifle can bring the noise so I don't blame people, but at the same time I cant stand range posers who act all hard, yet can be deterred so easily at a range when its there for everyone.

If he did have any experience, def wasn't a combat MOS or lucked out and never deployed.

True. The indoor range I shoot at will ban you forever (on the first offense) of practicing draw and fire. So I practice draw with a BB gun and a cardboard box at home.

And for good reason. Nothing against the ones who have the skill and discipline to carry out these exercises, but its the untrained idiots who are liable to have uncontrolled movements that can cause a fatal situation.

Oh, I hear yeah. You can't fix stupid. I guess that's where the laser trainers would probably come in pretty handy to duplicate real life scenario's safely

First, and I mean the VERY first thing the military teaches in the M-9 course is proper draw.

And that right there is a first sign of a professional that knows what he is doing vs the amateur who watches too many action movies. Gotta keep a straight trigger finger until on target.

I just watched his "1 year after I shot myself" video. his 2 regrets are and I quote "not emptying the magazine into the target after I shot myself" and "not videoing my self recovery" I feel like not shooting myself should go without saying as being at least number 3 or 4 hahaha

Appreciate the synopsis, I came really close to watching it too. Man that dude needs to accept he is not an action hero, rage and bullets don't always prove positive results.

Thanx it took me forever to build. Since I started the project and then put it off for awhile and then picked up again 2yrs later lol.
It took a lot especially after they annoyed my wife enough not to shoot anymore.

LOL yeah these two douche where from Gillman Mitsubishi one of them acted like he knew everything about guns. It was funny listening to him try to explain the difference between a .223 and a 5.56.
