Despite the fact that I have never before seen, let alone tasted, one of those, I can say with great confidence

 

Oh, now that really hurts. And to think I thought I was part of something Special. Imagine my disappointment to find out I've been shunned and degraded to Second Class status. This might drive me to drink if I wasn't already a heavy drinker.

 

I got out in 2001 and you could still drink on Pendleton (buy beer and E clubs) and in the barracks at the Naval Hospital in SD. This was not advertised before you arrived though. People were getting jumped/assaulted/robbed in TJ.

Wait, Marine? Pendleton prob has different rules and NASNI. Also, my first week in San Diego I was cruising around down in IB and found a group of marines cruising around with posters and emergency lights on...ask them whats up, apparently they got hammered in TJ and left their buddy down there, now they cant find him.....thats why we have fuckin drinking policies.

Ahhhh. I was this close to getting a billet on Pendleton for the hovercraft mechanics but the billet got picked up while we were applying lol. Ain't that some bullshit.
