If you check the thread titled 2016 CBI front bumper install I posted a bunch of tips from my experience and some photos. Let me know if you want any more from what I did. IMG_0082.jpg

Cutting factory trd OR skid plate. Final product. Removing from crash bar with out disassembling while thing. I used a dremel multi to cut bumper. Oscillating cutter works well for smaller kinda precise cuts.

Our bumper is a direct replacement, no cutting the factory plastic bumper required. Check it out as an easier replacement option. http://www.c4fabrication.com/produc...verland-series-front-bumper-full-size-no-cut/

Here is the only one i have without hoops. We have not had anyone order one with center hoop only.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Expedition One rangemax bumper. Stock suspension, 265/75/16 ko2s, warn zeon platinum 10s.

Are you talking about the ends that stick out to the sides?

Take a look at my pics a above this. If I want to get rid of those pieces that stick out, I have to cut them off?

no. I was referring to cutting of the stock bumper. Usually cutting most of the bottom of the bumper off leaving the part under the headlights. Your bumper is more of a complete replacement. Looks like you only had to cut the fender flares.

The ends that stick out to the sides I believe you are referencing is part of the new bumper you put on. If you want to cut those you could. How you would redo those ends after you cut would be up to you. I am guessing some welding and repaint/powder would be needed.

Oh I misunderstood you. I thought you were talking about metal, not plastic. I'm talking about the box steel that sticks out on either side. Under the bumper. You can see it best in the 2nd pic I posted.

I see. That part "ears" coming of the end of the frame. CBI bumper you have to remove (bolt) to put bumper on. The CBI bumper actually drops down and wraps around that section. You bolt the bottom of the bumper in the holes from which the "ears" were removed. If you see my photo look at the bottom corners you can see the very ends of the bolts sticking down

Ok cool. I took a quick look and there are bolts on the bottom but I couldn't tell if just removing those bolts would get them off.
