Yeah I'm not to mechanically inclined and I put them on my truck the 1st month I bought it. Could not stand hearing pebbles bounce off the side or underside of the truck. I was just creeping the Youtube web site and found that today. I was surprised when I found it.

the mount is designed to fit a 30" which makes it 100% bolt on. You have the option to mount a bar in either top, bottom or both locations.

New pic with the TRD pro skid plate added - it's powder coated black. I need to get down there and loosen up one side. I tightened it to spec per instructions but the left side appears tighter than the right causing it to not be even. I'll do it over the weekend when not crunched for time.

How much was powder coating your skid? have one sitting in a box but thinking about returning it for an aftermarket black one. Haven't convinced myself of the tan :/.

Was $150 at a local shop. They quoted me $75 but called and said it was going to be $150 if I wanted it done as it was going to require another coat or they would have returned it for free but said you could still see the silver shining through. They ended up helping with the install - so it was nice having access to their lift.

Changed my bumper caps to the black plastic ones. Also sprayed my Grille with Ford Toff coat (made by the guy who invented Line-X). Looks much better
