damn nice rig man. Stupid question and kinda random, before having a taco did you have a crew that would go to the oakland or tracy runs?

2017 Tacomaworld Calendar Submission - 2nd Generation Tacomas

On a less upbeat note. My truck is in need of some TLC.

-ARB compressor is dead and out of warranty (So no lockers)
-Power steering rack driver side is leaking and shaft has slack (Have been waiting a month for Detroit axle to send my replacement)
-Inner Tie Rod Heims are going out
-Upper Radiator Support still in 3 pieces
-Front /Rear/Xfer Case fluid need changing
    -Brakes/Rotors need changing
-Check Engine light for P0430 is on

And I got a trip in a month. :crapstorm:

I noticed on the first page of the build it said you have an engine cage, but I only saw the strut brace, do you also have a full engine cage?

    ...too much shit to list.
The coil bucket takes a beating with spirited driving. It will bend inward eventually and tweaking the frame from |------| to /------\
The crossover tube/brace/engine cage/whatever you want to call it serves to prevent the bucket from tweaking in.

What I was trying to figure out was if he was referring to the 'over engine shock tower brace' when he said engine cage.

I had thought that an engine cage was also supposed to replace the core support to prevent that from being destroyed during jumps. I was thinking of something like the photo below. I didn't know that the shock tower brace was also considered an engine cage.
