Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT vrs JVC NX-7000BT map updates question

I have narrowed down my HU to these 2 choices. I notice on JVC's website that new map updates were released dec 2009 BUT apparently are not included in the currently shipping units and you have to pay 129/139 for it.
What is the latest map updates for the Pioneer? What does it ship with? No info on Pioneer's site.
Which of these would you buy?

 

I got my Z110BT from 6ave.com, which is one of pioneer's authorized dealer, during their name your own price sale. Got it for $1050, then also getting $200 back from pioneer from their navi days rebate. Great price on a great headunit!

 

Correct me if I am wrong but my research shows the maps in the Pioneer are not 2009 and there is no update available. Rumor says May 2010 for update release (will have to pay).

got my z110bt also at 6ave - but got it @ $945 and will be sending in $200 pioneer rebate = $745 net.

 

Take it for what it's worth, but I talked with a local car stereo dealer here (I think the guy was the owner) and he said that he has heard that Kenwood is about to announce that its map updates would be free downloads from their website in the future. He also said Pioneer would likely do the same.

Hey thanks just told my buddy at work about this and he ordered it for $945.

Adding this part, he said $945 included shipping. So $745 for the unit!!!!

$255 less than CF.

 

Ordered the z today... didn't quite get that price, but close. I must not be a good negotiator as you all. I did get a good deal on an amp though.
