called the vet today to schedule Izzy to get spayed.... $120 - $150....

 

It seems expensive but remember this is surgery on a loved one. These doctors have been to school as long or longer than a humans doctor. Mad skillz aint cheap.

 

Truth. Actually around town here it is about twice that. Those prices are about 20 miles out of town or more which is where I go. My preference is a large animal vet that has gotten tired of getting beat up by those large animals and goes into small animal practice. They also seem to appreciate pets and people more than the city ones. Just my experience in this region anyhow.

sue idk if they do it where you are but here we have programs through the spca i believe where you can get spayed or neuttered for like half price through participating vets

 

A couple years ago and in early January we had a Santa Ana wind event that had 80 mph gusts .The strange thing was it was cold that day and with wind gust we had wind chill of 25 deg. If you were 5 miles south of were I lived temps were in the high 50's

Highest wind gust on the mtn peaks during a Santa Ana wind event in 2011 was 148mph !!
