What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I need to buy a set of those for my black princess. You never painted those, just plain black plastic like the ones I see on ebay?

Grill looks great. Like to have my entire truck Line X'ed.

 

Wow...I was thinking of getting same seat covers. Is it really that hard to get them on? I saw a video on YT and they made it look easy, but I thought that was prob too good to be true

 

Only took me about 2.5 hrs. Wasn't that bad imo

Yea, when I ordered them from our Toyota store I was assuming they were black paintable ones. I ordered a pint of paint online and was going to paint them myself since our body shop wanted too much to do it. When I opened them up I realized they were textured. I could of returned them, but figured I would hit them south a few coats of primer and it would take the slight texture out. When I got over to my shop to throw them on, I asked a few of my buddies what they thought. They said leave them black since it matches the flares and stuff. Decided to put them on and see how it looked. I like it. It's different and I think looks good on a OR

Looks good ... i was going to buy the black bumper caps but they were around $187 so i decided to buy a $6 can of black plastidip and sprayed them. Just an idea for anyone not wanting to spend nearly $200 but want black rear bumper end caps

 

does it fit well over the plastic bedliner thats already in there?

 

Those look pretty good. A guy at my work dipped his. Not sure if that stuff fades a bit but his grille that was dipped looked terrible. I've seen a few members here and it looks the same. Maybe they bought different stuff, not sure. I'd rather not have to worry about it peeling off. Plus I work for a auto group, so I get Emp pricing

 

Yes they fit well ... the tacoma bed is actually composite, its not a plastic bedliner

 

Yes, that is what Toyota designed them for. Keeps things from sliding around.. I thought when I bought my truck and it did not come with the bed mat I would not need one. I was wrong. Things slide around to easy on plastic. Bought my bed mat on Ebay.. Well worth the money.
