I am currently saving up for a toytec kit, then I will probably head your way! I'll bring beer. And maybe my girlfriend. She likes to watch and is great for getting refills.

If you'd rather go to a shop I've heard Eli's in Somerville (Can't remember which Sq) or Mac's in Davis Sq are good. I'm partial to Mac's for the name...

I just got home from doing a couple of races at K1 Speed in Kingston. They have a pretty decent deal on races Monday through Thursday (3 for $39.99 if you already have the license).

It's SO much fun though. If anyone ever wants to race, I'm totally game.

In other news, my month old yellow top has shit the bed. Won't hold a charge or recharge. Loses voltage even when completely disconnected. Seems to hold at around 8.48v. I've got it hooked up to a charger/maintainer now but it wont go much above 10v without tripping the fault circuit.

Weird. And not very fun. Any ideas anyone?

License is $7.00 / year. You just sign up, purchase a $7.00 license and pick your race package. Once you have the license, you can go back whenever. This is my third time this year. I was a half second slower than I was on my birthday. Bah.

    Bring. It.
