tacoma service manual

anyone know of any place to get a factory service manual for a 2014 Tacoma other than the site thru Toyota than you have to subscribe to at $400.00 a year.
I found a site that says complete manual pdf download for $39.00

has anyone heard of them or used them and is it legit

 

Online manuals are pretty much it. You might be able to find a chilton with older years. Kinda generic. Thats what I have, but I bought it back in 2011.

 

Try www.helminc.com . I've used them to order owners manuals for customers, but not checked on service manuals.

 

I bought their service manual for my TSX. I was very happy with it. The only down side for Tacomas is that there are 4 service manuals ($137/$99/$92/$137) , 1 wiring diagram manual ($66.21), and a body repair manual ($30).

Those 6 manuals total $561.21. A little pricy for me, otherwise I would have the set.

I have spent literally hours and hours scouring the interwebs for a service manual for my 2010 Tacoma but the only thing I have found is the one that everyone else has found...the manual for the '05. I have used it a few times and so far it has matched up pretty well with what I needed to know to get the job done and things worked out OK but it would be nice to have one for my model year Taco.

Subbed just in case someone's google-fu is better than mine.

 

If your all looking for the manuals you get when you buy a vehicle you should be able to go to toyota.com/owners and scroll to the bottom under resources and you'll see a link for manuals and warranty click there then on the next page click choose a vehicle and either join or on the right choose tacoma and the year and you'll get several different pdf options for viewing whats available for your truck....hope that what your all looking for.

 

I think they are looking for service repair manuals, like a mechanics service manual. But what you are saying is good info to know.

Seems like I read that as of the '11 MY Toy was no longer going to have printed service manuals available but only online through the TIS.

 

Chilton and Haynes are are the only printed manuals that I'm aware of, since Toyota doesn't print one anymore. Chilton is what I have, but its for 05-09. Its a bit generic, but gets me through most of what I need. Obviously it wont have updated changes to the truck in it. Like a lot of the electronics and emissions pump. I don't think chilton or Haynes make a manual for current year trucks, for whatever reason.


This Haynes is up to 2011.

techinfo.toyota is the oem site just to expensive everytime you need info.
