Since we've already got 10 commits, and nearly that many on the fence, let us know if he's willing to give more of a break with more people. That might sway more people to that side of the fence!

Just sent him a message. As soon as I get a response about boosting the discount I will let you guys know! In the meantime, share this with your buddies on your local Facebook pages in case they haven't seen the thread. Also, tag anyone in this thread that you think might be interested in jumping on this. The more people we get on that list, the better the chance of him doing it!

"The sliders are made from 2x2x1/8" square tube and .120 Hrew round tube. The frame plates are 3/16" either bolt on or weld on.

If you just get 10 the lead time will be avg around 8-10 weeks once the GB process is done. And of course the more the lead time will grow."

This is straight from Eddy himself. Also, he just informed me that for now, he wants to cap the group buy at 15 in order to keep lead times down for everyone involved.

Also, again this is just a feeler for now. It's a thread to get an idea of how many people are interested in getting a set of sliders from him. Right now he is still building bumpers from his last GB, and obviously it wouldn't make sense for him to start one before finishing the other.

I also just found out the he only does weld-on sliders for second gen trucks. He said that he hasn't sold a set of weld-ons in over a year because of how well the bolt-ons have performed.

Can he do a set that don't have an upward angle to them? I like my sliders to be protruding at a flat angle. Also I saw an option for line-x but nothing else about paint, are these painted already?

I'll ask about the angle, but as far as painting: your two options are raw metal and line-x.

They can be built flat up to an 18* upward angle.

Nope. He doesn't do weld on slider for third gen. Hasn't even measured for them. He does bolt on for both but weld on only for second gen.

That's what I said. He does bolt on sliders for both generations and does weld on sliders only on second generation trucks. Maybe my grammar sucks and I'm saying this wrong LOL
