    Seal then Wax....

Need to make sure you remove all wax prior to sealing as well...

The red insert was trapped in the cap. Didn't stay on the bottle properly.

    Absolutely!

I just recently bought a 17 TRD OR first thing I did when I got it home was strip the truck clay bar then 2 coats of Jet Seal and 2 coats of white wax....

    Here is what I use:
    http://www.chemicalguys.com/JetSeal_16_oz_p/wac_118_16.htm
    http://www.chemicalguys.com/White_Wax_p/wac_313.htm
    http://adamspolishes.com/shop/specials/sub-category-1/adam-s-strip-wash-32oz.html

Here is another excellent product to use as well... I have heard some good stuff about this as well...

I used Ajax orange dish soap to wash my truck and it stripped all the wax off my truck. (this is good) I got a bottle of Trinova Paint Sealant for free so I put that on my truck after I dried it. I used nothing but the Trinova sealant and my black truck looks dripping wet.

I'll give it a try this upcoming weekend. I have also stopped using Armorall and other "dressings", I'm scared of the o-zone effect it seems to have on plastics.

So far, my only complaint about the VLR is that it only lasts a couple weeks.

So when i'm done detailing my interior. I leave the VLR rag in truck for a few days and wipe the dash and door panels down a few more times

I had some plastic haze on my gauge cluster, I took some paint polish and buffed the haze out. If applying a spray on product, spray on a towel then apply with towel. Helps cut down on overspray and other issues.

Hey guys, I really don't feel like reading through 130 pages, so can anybody tell me if there has already been a discussion about removing heavy water/sap stains from glass?

    Thanks

Excited to have found this thread on this awesome forum

My name is Mark and I have just started a detailing business on the side (paramedic by trade, and educator)

Have been detailing for friends and family for several years, and several people tell me to just do it for a living because they get good results, service, and I have a passion for it

Finally taking that step forward as an llc, and it has been enjoyable to learn from all of the experience and support from this thread, autogeek, and other forums

Will try to get some pictures of my work up soon, (my 2nd gen taco as well... of course)

    Just checking in

    Carry on

I have been on autogeek for about 4 months researching and asking questions prior to making this decision

Name is going to be detail oriented, and I am located in Knoxville TN

I had a few other names ideas, but that one kinda stuck with me ... what are thoughts on here for

    Detail Oriented llc ?

Wash then clay. You need to decon the paint. It will help the vehicle stay cleaner.

Definitely strip your previous wax/sealant first.
