Strongly agree. Got mine with a 15% of coupon from a local dealer for $100.29 out the door. Sooo much better than having to strap everything down or scratching up the bed.

Those of you who used plasti dip spray paint, what prep is needed? Just clean and paint? And does it run easily or not too bad?

First 2-3 coats stay very light. Then you can start to lay it on. You want a very thick finished coat, especially if you plan to remove at some point. Even if it does run, you can cover with the next coat. The only prep you need is cleaning the surface. When I've done wheels, I use a whole can per wheel. If you do it too thin, it's a nightmare to remove. If you don't do mist coats first, it'll fail early. There's tons of YouTube videos on this stuff.

Yes just clean surface good and paint, very easy to work with. A couple tips ive learned
    • Do a really light first and second coat to build a good base layer
    • Wait 15-20 minutes between coats
    • Once a coat is done turn the can upside down and spray on trash cardboard or whatever, this cleans nozzle tip out and reduces any splatter
    • I recommend doing a minimum of 5-6 coats to make sure its covered well

Thanks guys. Been thinking about dipping something on the truck but keep chickening out. Afraid it won't turn out or I won't like it. :goingcrazy:

Well that project turned out great.
No drilling and can remove or attach holster/gun with one hand. When I don't want it I have the whole box.

Bought this from Amazon. Measured it and cut (use razorblade with ruler to score then snap) it to the side of glovebox. Mounted the female blackhawk quick disconnect to plexiglass using the screws and female threaded sleeves. Then used double sided tape around the back edge to mount it in. Its SOLID.

only 7 dollars if you have the Blackhawk mount. If not, the Blackhawk mount is only 29 and the quick disconnects are 15 i think?
