Late made 2016s and now 2017s may or may not have grease fittings. I checked 5 trucks on the lot when I went to go grease a July built 16. All 4wd SR5s some had grease fittings on the rear joints and some did not. Im assuming shafts are built at 2 different places and they use 2 different joints.

thanks, and idk i have an old ancient grease gun that was inside the 48 willys jeep left to me from my grandpa.
this thing has A TON of zerks/grease locations

i'm going to get a new one here soon just haven't decided on what gun to get. Amazon or local store.

maybe ill se if there's a more compact style gun for tight places.

350 Million Americans and those two are the best we can do? You could blindly pick any two people off of the street and give us better options. The country will be worse off in 4 years than it is now, we just get to pick which aspects of our lives goes to shit first. It's like being forced to choose between drowning or burning to death.

ok so if got a new pt performance tool grease gun with a runner line and some mobile one grease.

i found the front 2 zerks just like u stated and now understand what u mean by hard to tighten it when there in the center of the shaft..
    pliers work pretty good tho.

a lot of black grease came out of all 5 zerks so it looks like mine were already good an full of some factory grease.
