because of the wheel wells being right in the bed. its just like the box i had on my 06, and i know that one wouldnt fit. too wide.

yep...ive noticed the past couple days my truck running a little rough...def time to change the oil

as far as that toolbox is concerned...i dont recall that guy having an 05+ tacoma and it more than likely came out of a 1st gen...if thats the case then youre fine since the bottoms sides are sloped all the way back like the front half of mine is...which is where it fits over the wheel wells

yeah, but on the dc.....the wheel wells go all the way to the back of the bed, thats why im thinking it wont fit.

and for the truck running rough..........we can do a seafoam treatment and seafoam deep creep in the throttlebody. she'll be purring like a kitten wha=en we are done!!!:D

shouldnt matter because of the fully sloped sides...on mine its the same way...i just checked...and it will clear the wheels fine if i were to slide it

nope...i thought mine was that way too...but i ran out and looked at it...because the sides are sloped all the way back it should clear the wheel wells for you...it'll sit down right over them and youll have a smidge of clearance...but not a ton

keep in mind though on these trucks that there are only 4 tiedowns...one on each corner...and those 2 up front near the cab are TOUGH to get to with a toolbox in the way

if i was to get it.......i'd probably put 2 tie down point on the tool box itself..........maybe even make them removable. im planning on getting a bed extender one of these days anyway.

    thats a good idea!

if i ever get around to getting rid of the drop in liner and coating the bed im gonna add some more tie down points because i hate reaching up under my toolbox to hook in a ratchet or tie a rop
