Haha my bad! Not too much different tech wise lol. Striker: less prone to snag on clothing due to it being smooth, less prone to have issues from getting dirty since it's internal (the firing pin area at least), consistent trigger pull

Hammer: double action/single action or double action only or single action only, some people like the visual of the hammer, more likely to have a manual safety etc

I'm sure there's more, I'm just tired LOL. The guys at work know all the intricacies. I'm more into the truck stuff :D

Better to ask what I have not done.
So why have we fased out manual safetys? I mean none of the pistols i looked at today had any major safety parts to it. No pressure safteys like 1911s or what not.

    REI Pray for Snow event..

Snow has been summoned, culminating with the burning of the castle, guarded by over 1,000 Twinkies!

The top of the wall was over 6 feet. Towers were probably 9 feet. It took a second but that foker went up quick!

Check out KLM, they are partnered with Delta and I have not had any problems with either carrier. Check out airport code DAR (E.Africa for Tanzania) and CPT (S.Africa for Cape Town)

I'm not sure really. Technically they still have safeties, just no manual safeties. Glocks for example have three safeties. Trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. You can throw a loaded one across the room and nothing will happen. A lot of people just don't want that added step to remember if something happens. Go to pull the trigger and "crap I forgot my safety".

I really want a P226 too. But I still can't justify that money. Even at cost!

You have the safety on when you carry?
They do, but why use it?
    You can borrow my s&w.

Like she said, there are other types of safety's, but why would you need it? Especially on ccw?

Personally for me it feels more secure with the thumb safety. Taking it off safe became muscle memory for me with all weapons as soon as the safety clears the holster (or I begin to rise the rifle). I don't see the thumb safety as any sort of hinderance. It's off before the gun is even pointed at the target.

Just one more thing to remember if you are in a situation that you need to get a shot off as quick as possible. Especially if you now lost all your fine motor skills cause you just had a weapon pulled on you.

Muscle memory is a good thing, but the safety is still just one more thing that could potentially get in the way.

Should I get drilled/slotted rotors when I do my brakes or is normal fine?
