Try an agency that is national all the time.... I work in a little town with mostly older people, so its usually pretty quiet when the sun goes down, but it has its moments of crazy. Usually literal crazies.

True story. Thats why more shit gets done on nights, the bosses are chiller and turn more of a blind eye to stuff to get the job done, whereas on days, you sit there for 4 hours waiting on one dudes signature on some paperwork to get the job started

I'm not PD but FD in a decent sized, mostly lower income city. I don't know how much experience you guys have with synthetic marijuana over there but over here it's like an epidemic. It makes these people bat shit crazy, siezures, throwing up, passing out in random people's yards or just on the street. It's crazy, they would be better off just smoking the real deal.

Ya, its scary what druggy scientists and chemists can cook up. I haven't dealt with it much, just one DUI that was high on the stuff. it was a while ago.

We make multiple runs for that synthetic shit every day. It's usually the same 5-10 people.

Luckily I switched over here AFTER the Federal Investigation of this place and then a year later abruptly shut down the old Detention facility I worked at for 7 years.

Tryina stay off the radar and grind it out while the big-wigs sleep.

Luckily, my command staff is pretty chill even when they're awake. My captain was my spotter during a criminal interview today and was great. Its all about the command staff and their desire to focus on their people vs the people. It has to be a balance.

We see this stuff a lot in the prison system. It's easy to sneak in, hard to detect, easy to conceal, and it can make these dudes literally insane. You don't appreciate how potent it is until you see a dude running through the housing unit completely naked screaming gibberish. Must be good stuff.

Yea it really is crazy, especially when they look at you like you aren't even real. You can see in their eyes that they are gone.

Yep, be much better off. But then they couldn't pass a piss test, not that they have a job to go to anyway.

The bright side is that I get to run on that shit and also pay for their trip in the ambulance to the hospital.

truest lesson i learned in the jails. scary true.

anyone from colorado? I've heard DUI weed crashes are through the roof and end up wicked bad because of the tendency to combat the slow perception by driving faster, +poor judgement=parts everywhere. plus there's so much more thc in the weed and edibles, etc, than your mom and dad's bud, it hits harder and lasts longer (yes, she said it)

Yea, I don't condone dui in any form. I think it should be treated by the user just like alcohol. I am aware that not all drinkers are responsible and dwi is a major problem everywhere. There needs to be a way to test how recent a smoker has smoked and maybe that would deter a good portion

They're pushing the anti-marijuana ads big time here as it's a Ballot Question to legalize recreational use. Lots of statistics are being quoted with not a lot of science to back it up. Looks likely to pass and I could care less, OUI is OUI regardless of substance.

I do know the stuff they sell in the shops is premo stuff, nothing like the regular one would buy on the street. Two puffs will do the same if not more than a whole joint of regular. If there are folks smoking this stuff like cigarettes then I can see how these things would happen. I'm not against it, I honestly think it's a better, less addictive option to alcohol. I just think it is still a drug, as is alcohol, and should be treated by the user as such and done responsibly.
