    Maybe they went for the chrome ring as its screwed on over the grille insert and holds the grille in place. With only the plastic tabs in the existing PRO grille it is not super tight and wiggles around a bit.

    I'd agree that the chrome ring doesn't make it look any better. Maybe this update is why they were on stop order?

    I am still a bit skeptical on the grill getting the chrome accent. I have the TRD PRO Grill and there is no way for it to fit in there. Unless they decided to make a completely different grill only a few months into production.

    I do too because the chrome ring outlines/defines the front nose. Just wondering if this is a photoshop version or a real version.

    Found them at my fav dealership. My parts guy literally called and begged them to send them. Then when they got in he had to call back for pricing and they about flipped shit that he had them in the first place. Since our region isn't supposed to have them released until December. Oh well what can you do. Lol
