    I have a 16 TRD Sport DCLB, while its at the dealer for yet another issue, I took one of the 2017 SR5 DCLB I have on my loan lot for the day. I can say that the 2017 drives a hell of a lot better than the 16 transmission wise. It does still have the 45-65 howl at times.

    Overall the 2017 is an improvement but down the road may still have some issues.

    I say go for the 2017.

    Now: 2016 WRX stage 2 377hp/350tq. Then: 2016 TRD Sport DCSB 6MT (don't kick me!)
    I've got a DCSB Sport 4x4 in a manual transmission. They don't offer the manual in the long bed! It's offered on the V6. I'd have a long bed if they offered it in a manual!

    A rubber bed mat is all you need to keep things from moving in the bed. They work amazingly good and for $100 is a great fix.
