I know a guy that manages to hide one appendix. If I try it, it's highly uncomfortable. I'm a fan of anything compact. I really like sub-compacts for carry but my meaty ass paws cause the slide to bite the web of my hand unless the pistol has a decent beavertail, which most subcompacts don't.

My carry is the Glock 19 Gen4 with the medium grip extension installed which gives it a full beavertail. I tried the Evo for a while, but didn't like that I had to carry 3 spare mags (total 33) to equal the total number of rounds of the Glock with 1 spare (total 31). Plus I can clean the Glock in the dishwasher if I want, while the Evo requires real 1911 level care.

I will say this though, I have a brain lock around carrying appendix without a manual safety. If I'm careless holstering my Glock in a 3 o'clock holster it'll be a nasty leg wound with some decent rehab time. With anything appendix, there's too many big blood tubes under that bullet trajectory, and the extra comfort of a manual safety if I get careless while holstering is a nice feeling. Fortunately I'm not a big appendix carry fan, so that doesn't really limit my options.

I have the power stop z36 kit on my truck. It is a slotted and drilled rotor setup. I saw lots of dry dirt this past year but not a lot of mud and I've been happy with the performance coming down the big hill. I had some TRD resurfaced and a set of Napa that warped on me quickly prior and I'm cautious of mud now

XD mod 2 subcompact in 9mm has 13+1 capacity. 16+1 with the extended mag. I really love the way mine shoots too. Very accurate even with the short barrel.

Awesome, thank you! Good to know. I'm also looking at price. I see XD compact or sub-compacts for around $500. It seemed like the mod 2 jumps up to closer to $700, but I'll keep checking around. I probably just need to suck it up one way or abother! Either pay the price I want or get everything I want out of it - one or the other!

I'll check around! Thanks for the info guys! I looked again and I might have just gotten confused about different things. There's a lot of single letters in different combinations flowing through my mind. I checked again and Cabelas has he Mod 2 for a little over $500. That might be what I decide to get!!

What do you need to have quick trail welding capabilities?

I've seen something before where you need a few battery cables to connect two batteries together, welding rod and some other stuff.

Yeah I see a truck a lot like yours running around the Firestone area. I was thinking it was you. He's got a topper on his truck. Unless you put one on? I wave to the guy all the time, he probably thinks Im crazy in my work truck.
