I have the Bilstein 5100's set at 1.75 here. The tires would barely rub the upper control arm slightly due to the stock offset wheel at full lock doing u-turns etc. Wasnt a bad thing at all.

Anyone in here considered the 34"x10.5"x17 KO2s. Curious to see how they look on a 3rd Gen

any of you guys with 275 KO2's using your truck every day? i really want to go 275 for durability, extra traction - off road, in sand and in snow...plus looks are a big attraction too...but was just wondering if anyone here is driving their truck a good amount on pavement too. My '16 is my only vehicle and can't afford to buy something thats gonna make it a damn drag. I know its going to be a power loss but is anyone out there thinking the power loss is so bad that it's not worth it? or atleast wouldn't be worth it for someone like me, who doesn't have another vehicle for high way driving?

(note-highway driving/ driving above 60mph is probably 5% of what my truck sees, mostly back roads)

I'm running 275 70 17 KO2s and they are awesome on pavement. I haven't noticed much change in power or gas mileage.

I'm curious is anyone running this size and going off road and with what lift?
I know many say you can fit a 275 or a 285 with no rub, but once you start having flex it will start to rub.
Not looking at the KO2 but ST Maxx in the same size.

Running 275 KO2s, daily driver. Lifted with 887s and 1.5" AAL. Stock UCAs with caster at 1.5-1.8. No rubbing on the street, even at full lock in reverse and I still have the OEM mudflaps on. I've measured them and have about 1"+ of clearance at full lock. This is on a 17x8 0 offset wheel.

For daily driving with my 6MT I could tell a difference at low RPMs, but this motor is already lethargic at low RPMs stock. Tires are also noticable stiffer, but better than the 295 Nittos I had on my FJ. MPG is stuck around 17 right now, no real highway mileage though. I chose the 275s to try and balance size and daily drive-ability and I feel like they're about as big as I could go. Next time tires are needed I will probably go back to a 265/70/17 or try the C load Discoverer S/T in the 275 size.

Final opinion, they're livable for a DD and I am pleased and happy I didn't bother with fitting a 285 on my DD. To each their own though.

Do you go off road at all? I'm curious if they would rub with flex.

I ran 275/70/17 KO2 tires for a couple months and went back to a 265/70/17 C load tire. The 275 E load tire was too much for daily driving 60 plus miles a day. I have 1.75-inches of lift in the front and had no rubbing what so ever even under hard off-road suspension loads. Glad with my decision of going to a smaller and lighter tire. I don't off-road to the point where I am breaking parts and denting body panels but I feel I do reach the trucks capability which is some decent off-roading. I am completely happy and surprised some times what I can do with the small lift and slightly larger tire to the point where I dont crave more.

I do. But it is moderate and I wont be doing so until next summer. My "off roading" is usually back country forest/logging roads for camping and occasionally biking. I chose the 275s to minimize rubbing, if I had to guess based off the wheel offset and tire size the may rub the top off the fender well under compression. They have plenty of clearance in front and behind the tire so less likely to rub on the cab mount and bumper.

I also forgot to add that I parked next to a co-worker the other day who is running 285/75/16 KO2s on FJ wheels and the 275 looks to be the same size in person.

I'll be getting E load either way, I'm not a fan of KO2 on road performance and the ST Maxx is only offered in E rated for pretty much every size. whether I go 265 or 275.
But good to know. I'll have a fox lift with dakars. I was concerned about the cab mount.

ya the cab mount was my concern. thats the main thing besides MPG loss holding me back from a 285.

265 should be good with no cab mount cut unless your running a big offset or 9"+ wheels.
I would have gotten the ST Maxx too, but I was penny pinching, KO2s cost about 150 less OTD.

I'm getting a deal on the ST so its actually cheaper for me lol.

    I'll be running a 17x8 0-offset.
As of right now planning 265 70 but would rather 275 if I can get away with it with no rubbing

Should be good, same offset as mine and tire size but with the fox lift you can raise it higher than mine if needed.

Approximately how much lift did you get from your 887s? I've herd some say 2.5 and some say 2in.

Mine settled at about 2". Get 888s if you want 2.5".
