If larger tires are your biggest worry then that's no problem for the s/c. I felt I definitely needed it after I put my front plate bumper on, along with the RTT and rack on the bed.

Hey all....First time posted long time lurker... I have been working on a 1999 Tacoma 4X4 3.4l build and looking at mounting some off road light and some additional electrical accessories.... I have seen multiple threads on 2-3rd gens fuse and relay mods but nothing on first gens...any of you got something you have done and works well with the limited space on driver side I would prefer to not have to use the passenger side of the engine bay.... since the battery and current power is ran through the driverside already?

I've heard they're awesome. the problemo is a lot of folks bitch and whine about supercharging our trucks that usually are (unless your a lucky duck) higher mileage. I personally don't think this is true and would happily SC my 156K rig, but I had a spark plug blow out of its tube, had to heli-coil it, so its a rebuilt head for me before SC :(

my good buddy on here did the 2nd gen SC group buy, saved a shit ton but spent a shit ton...if they did one for the 1st gen, I might have some issues. As in, If I had more than a couple beers and happened to stumble into that GB.. I'd might as well set up my cardboard sleeping arrangements right then :cookiemonster:

Pretty sure it's the same, I even had less room because I'm a manual. Fit very nicely but not with much room to spare.

    Here it is unmounted

They moved the charcoal canister and evap stuff somewhere around '02. I don't think there was any consistency though to when they made the charge.

I have the same junk there too on my '01.

I like it but want it closer....I might have to swap and do the bussman set up off the fire wall that might have to just work.... think there is enough room right next to the driverside hood strut for the bussman
