That's what I thought. My co-workers agree with me. This isn't the first time she's done this.

I should add that you now are a dick. I didnt care, but now that the story is brought to light, I find I DO care, as no one should have a Boss like that, especially when lives are at stake. I say you offer to change Her oil. By doing so, surely you will render Her vehicle inopperable, thus preventing her forom going to work, thus saving lives.....Thoughts?

I think she should just be pushed in front of a moving train, but then I pity the brianr wannabe who has to scrap a metric fuck load of bullshit of the front of their engine.

On a serious note, Being part of the EMS world, if you feel that passionatly about your boss possibly causing harm and do not agree with something she has done, then you need to bring it to the attention of the higher ups. I do not know the whole story, but sfrom what I understand something needs to be done. Sorry to hear about your day. I understand why you are so bent out of shape, when it comes to your patient and you are the one held liable and its your house and truck and life on the line. I feel for ya.

ever hear of the Peter Principle? People are promoted until they reach their level of incompetance and that's where they stay. So most working people are incompetant at their jobs and not much gets done in the world.

Cheers mate. At least someone feels my pain. Sadly she really didn't do anything wrong besides highly suggest I push combivent (When the pt. didn't need it) and disagree with my reasoning to run Ringers Lactate for a solution versus Normal Saline. But when she does do something concrete we plan on nailing her to the wall with it.

There isn't a way to take a chart or document of some sort to your bosses boss and lay out the situation.

Cause it would seem if she made it this far she hasn't fucked anything REALLY serious away...and will continue to ride along without major incident...If she does manage to kill/injure someone- She'll get fired without doing anything- but if you can see it now...I would think you would want to preempt something going wrong.

Some bosses suck...Some bosses don't. I've had several of both- Military affords the unique opportunity to work for lots of people over time. The morons sort themselves out most the time- but when lives hang int he balance....Step up and say something (and not just bitching/lashing out on here.)

We just make sure she doesn't make mistakes and slot her into positions that she can't fuck up (Like holding C-Spine).

We do bitch, but she just avoids the issue and refuses to talk about it.
