Ordered the third gen bilstein set with 887 coils and a 1.5" spacer for the rear. Should be in next week. Wondering if I should have went with a 2" spacer. They were out of the deaver AAL.

If you want a full 2", you should just opt for the Dakar leaf pack...

    What're you trying to accomplish?

I'm running 887s (bils. 5100 on bottom notch) with 1.5" AAL probably got around 2" in front and 1.5" in the rear. Truck is still slightly lower in the front but closer to level than it was stock. I'm able to run 275 KO2s with FN FX Pro wheels with no rub, still have the mud flaps on too. I could probably run 285s with the TRD wheels.

I saw your other post and with 265s the 887s will look good. Any higher and they'll look a little out of place.

I'm just lifting for primarily aesthetic reasons though i'll do some off-roading during deer season. I'm running the pro rims with 265/70/17 KO2s

Edited my last post, but with 265s, if you run the 887s on the bottom notch and a 1.5" rear spacer it will look good. Any more will make your tires look too small.

I wound up at a solid 2" lift with wheelers 3 leaf AAL, and that is without factory overloads.

We couldn't get the alignment quite right without the upper arms. I ran it for about 750 miles before doing the uppers. But it was pigeon toed. And that drove me nuts. Especially after spending so much on the tires. I would do the arms at the same time as the leveling kit to do it right and have it aligned properly. The SPC arms have a remarkable amount of camber/caster adjustment.

Yeah, Wrangler DuraTracs. Word of mouth told me they were good in the snow which is key in CO. The only other tire I wish I knew about is the Toyo Open Country CTs.

just dropped my truck off after lift for re-alignment. I went with JBJ UCAs and moved the 5100/Toytec springs and AAL off my '12 over. What specs should the dealer be looking for on the alignment? Stock?

Hey, I was wondering if you ended up ever rubbing with this tires? Looking to put the same ones on but hesitant because I don't want to CMC if I don't have to.

Finally got around to getting the lift installed. Sorry about the sorry garage photo. Front: OME 888/bilstein 5100, 1/4" headstrong spacer on driver side, custom uca's. Rear: Dakar leaf pack w/long overload removed, extended travel 5100's, extended brake lines, timbren bumpstops w/ubolt flip kit. 285/75/16 cooper STT pro's. Most everything purchased from Headstrong. Big ups, thanks and strongly recommend Marie at Headstrong. Customer service is second to NONE!!

Looks great. Did you take before and after measurements to see exactly how much lift was achieved? Also, what setting are your front 5100s on, 0 or .85?

I'm pretty set on the 5100s and 888 coils also. I currently running a bolt on spacer which does the job but I'm going to upgrade soon. I'll be doing gears over the winter also, truck needs gears if you plan to use 6th gear at all.

It's changed quite a bit since then. It has barely rubbed a couple times when off road and turning. Not enough that I've been concerned enough to do anything about it. I could trim a tiny piece off the flares and be fine.
On the street I have had zero rubbing. On the trails, I've had it rub a couple times, but not on the cab mount. The rubbing has been minor enough that I haven't
felt the need to address it. It has also changed a little since that photo was taken.

Anyone have any helpful input on any of these three lift kits? I have a 16 trd or that I want to fit a bit larger tires under on the 17" 4runner pro wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated! No heavy off-roading just around town and heavy snow. I am considering the LRT leveling lift kit, Supreme Suspension, and Tough Country. Probably going to do 2-3" front and 1-2" rear.
