    Nice! 454 is for my lever action rifle. I hunt with a 300WSM mostly, Win model 70 sporter, with some speedy little Lapua Scenar hollow points. 30-06 is for my ex. She misses my loads, or something like that.

    Nice X2!!

    I really like the lines on it. I'm not that old (46) but I love deer hunting with this rifle. Nothing wrong with modern rifles, but I see a lot of modern, overpowered, scoped up rifles in the thick dense Maine woods...totally impractical. I've shot 4 deer & 2 moose with this...all with open sights & all under 100yds. I can't begin to guess how many deer (white tailed) my grandfather and his brothers shot with it....

    Correct. I don't shoot it much as the receiver metal is soft and the bolt can leave gouge marks...a gunsmith told me that years ago.
