Love them. Have about 10k miles on them and can say nothing but good things. They are much, much more quiet than I expected. Do well for an 80% street tire. I thought real hard about the BFGs, but just liked the look of the Duratracs a lot more. Best of luck. Milton

    For everyone running the BFG's...

I would like to put some 265-75-16's on my '09 DC TRD OR 4x4. Our trucks come from the factory with a P series tire... How do the Lt sizes and load ratings work on our trucks? Or is there P series BFG AT that I am missing?

A 10 ply, load range E definitely sounds like overkill for our trucks... Is the ride quality compromised? Or is it worth it for the treadlife?

I don't mind a little firmer ride as long as I get more tread depth and treadlife...

Thats exactly the size I got on my 2007 TRD OR. The bfg in that size only come in E load with 10 ply as you already know. I had a P rated tire before that (Michelin LTX M/S 255x65R16). The ride is definately more truck like. Not so noticeable around town, more so on the highway on the asphalt connections. I don't mind the harsher ride, I bought a truck, not a Lexus. And frankly the extra plys for increased punture resistance is a lil'piece of mind when driving on unforgiving terrain.

Yeah, I know. I noticed that when I did the poll, but was too lazy to change it.

I just ordered a set of Duratracs from Discount Tire. Closest store that had some was in MI. Goodyear was backordered on them. Sucks that I had to pay $17 a tire shipping to get them here. Oh well they matched Kauffman Tire's $75 coupon so the shipping was a wash.

    $849 installed for 265/75/16 C's

Gonna have them installed this weekend.

I looked into BFG AT's but they were $970 installed from Discount Tire in a D load range.

I will see how the Duratracs perform.

IMHO, BFG KO'S suck (sorry no offence to any KO owner) I had them on my F250 diesel for about 28k miles. They didn't wear worth a crap (rotated every 8k) and they allways left me straded on the trail. BUt I know the F250 is a 8300lbs turd.

Ya the 10 plys will def kill your ride. Plus dont expect to air down and get super traction. 10 plys are meant to keep their shape because of the loads they are intended for. A "C" or "D" rating tire would be a better choice. The "D" rating is still a bit much tho. I have 265x75R16 "C" rate BFG muds and "D" rates and you can definately tell the difference. A bit of food for thought if you intend on going with the "E" rates. Its gonna be awful.

I have 10ply in the duratrac, on my little 4bannger, and its waaaay to much of a tire for it. The ride is harsh, at times, but not unbearable. It is a heavy tire, and i noticed a large drop in acceleration times from it. The only reason i got them was a mess up on the order, and i became inpatient, and didn't want to wait for stock backorder. The tires are great, just my next set is going to be the lightest rating i can find.

I got the duratracs installed this morning. $850 from discount tire. 265/75/16's C load rating. I love the look of them. They are a little noisy on the highway but i'm sure thats because they are brand new.
