And that is something that has bugged me for many years. Used to be before biased radial tires a spare was used for rotation. Like 2 pairs of boots in rotation will last 3 times longer than than 1 pair worn every day. The problem with radial bias tires is or was the rotational direction and you had to keep the rotation the same.

I thought about it but that is as far as it went.

You can easily fabricate a Morse cable lever that goes to the batt disconnect and can shut power down from inside the drivers compartment

 

If your going to do that just run 2 kill switches in series. One in the back and one on the dash.

 

i'm still trying to wrap my head around putting it in the positive cable. why would the largest heavy equipment manufacturer in the world put it in the negative cable if it were wrong idk maybe the difference between gas and diesel but cat puts them in the neg

This Lokar battery disconnect lever is mounted next to the shifter and can be easily accessible in the event its needed
