    has anyone put in a bigger one?? how many watts? like to run aircompressor...and other large items...

    Why not hardwire a 100% duty cycle on board air compressor in?? No need to plug it in.

    well...i thought of wiring one into truck...but i would also like to run other power tools that need more watts....like 500watt lights...saw...grinders and such

    we go to silver lake all the time and would be nice to have good power for tools....

    Don't you need a ridiculously large gauge wire to do that? I'm pretty sure it's been researched and scrapped cause you'd need a wicked large wire.

    wire is no problem...just would be nice to put a bigger one in and use the outlet that is there....

    Rhino Lined exterior,Fab Tech 6", 1.25" SpiderTrax spacers, Wheels painted Rustoleum Hammered Black, All Pro front plate bumper, Warn 9.5 ti winch, BHLM, Cig lighter constant on, Door beep toggle switch, Locker mod, Lock/unlock beeper Mod, Rear tailights smoked, 750w inverter with the outlets and on/off switch wired to rear of the console, Blacked out badges, blacked out rear bumper.
    I put a 750 in mine and then wired the outlets to come out in the back of the console in front of the back seats. I would have gone bigger but i had that unused from when i went to iraq the last time and they had 3200 watt inverters in all our vehicles:) so i jsut sent the 750 home. i will eventually go bigger. remember anything you want to run that is bigger than 110 is not going to operate for more than a second. there is a mod for this i will try to find the one i used.
