Thanks! Got it from @customcargrills I painted and attached the letters with BBP (and trd badge) myself. The letters are raised 1/8". I reused my bezel and painted it but you can order everything all put together

what's the cost of that setup? I'm torn between the TRD Pro and something like yours. Right now I'm paining the inside grille satin black and leaving the outer ring and Toyota crest chrome. Will see if that makes it more attractive. otherwise I'll be changing to something else.

Wheels are just the stock 2016 Limitied 18" wheels, tires are BFG KO2 275/65's.

They do loo pretty good together!

 

I got my T-Rex for below $300 when they came out for the 3rd gens in January 2016. They messed up my order and then gave me a discount. They are about $359 now. The logo is an oem Toyota part. I got it off of the customcargrills.com website for around $35. I like the grill because it matches the hood skewp grill perfectly on the TRD sport models.

 

Decals installed from @rrentrop. Extremely easy guy to work with and very fast shipping. Meant to clean the truck before pictures... but it was rainy all weekend until this morning, so I installed then went to take pictures!

White inlays for the glovebox and door sills, then matte black side markers, badge inlays, and reflective tailgate letters. The tailgate letters are only visible at some angles, but then looks good with the light reflection. I was barely able to catch it in the bottom picture.

 

Pulled the trigger today

 

got huper optik ceramic 30% all around. ko2's with white letters out! and black TRD rims (of course). Oh and Lund black 5" oval nerf bars are on the way.

Thinking about trading in for a MGM Taco or White .

Question for all you guys with the MGM tacos : how well does the MGM hide swirl marks/scratches and any other imperfections in the paint under direct sunlight?

I currently own a black Taco . When it's clean and in the shade , it's the most beautiful color. Burn When it's under direct sunlight you can see all the imperfections Every. Single. One. It's annoying and I regret getting black .

 

Personally, I think the scratches show horribly well on this color. It drives me nuts

 

Anyone have a TRD Pro Grille? I want to see what it looks like on a MGM.
