Not sure if there's a thread for this already.. didn't see one anyway... if there is could someone steer me in that direction. I'm just curious what everyone's averaging for MPG. Mainly automatics... whether you have a sport or off road. 2 or 4 wheel drive... What's your daily commute.. highway or city or a mix of the two. what Gas your Runnin. I have a 2017 off road 4x4 and have been averaging roughly 15.5 mph. I haven't really don't much freeway. That's mostly around town, but still thought It would do better.

Highway I cannot seem to muster better than 21. Combined somewhere around 18.

Mileage improves with time though as everything breaks in. Also will be better with ethanol free by 1mpg or so.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    4x4 OR with e rated 265/75/16s average 15 combined

Neither am I.... I think my drop is because the bigger KO2 tires. The truck came with Them when I bought it. I am thinking about switching them for something more street friendly.

I have just the factory Michelin tires. Didn't know the ko2 tires made that much of a difference. I want something a little more aggressive. Thinking the Michelin all terrain. I don't four wheel at all but like the aggressive look. The tundra off road comes with them and I have driven it and has a nice ride.

    I have a V6 SR5 4X2 with stock tires and I'm rated 19/24.

    I rarely ever drive over 2000 rpm's.

At best, I've gotten around 27 mph however on average, I get around 20-21.

Check the Fuelly badge in the sig, I get around 17.5 average I would say at this point and my average on there is slowly going down to match that. Highway at 55-60 MPH is around 22 MPG, going up to 75 cuts it down to 15.5 to 16 range. Wind resistance and hills are major problems for the Tacoma. Something like my Camaro SS though, the thing can go in 30 MPH winds uphill and still stay in overdrive  whereas the Tacoma has do downshift to 4th quite often. If you can stay in overdrive (5th/6th) it's not bad. Just don't expect to going over 70. This was true 100% stock as well as how it is now. Only thing to affect my milage is the tires, KO2's in C load, dropped it's average maybe 1-2 MPG city, didn't really change highway.
