Has anyone tried those dummy blinking lights for theft prevention ? Supposed to make it look like your car has a set alarm.

So does the steel wool have an amber in it or on fire to cause it to glow?

The steel wool will burn if light on fire and swinging it around forces a lot of oxygen makes it spark like that and swinging it around creates that effect also. Think of it like poor folk fire works!

If you want to try it yourself makes sure you get the 0000 fine steel wool, the kind you wash your dishes with won't work.

Cool, I remember that about steel wool now. I'll have to try it someday, just no time soon with this dry weather.

Very true.. I have heard so many stories of people storing steel wool and batteries in the same camping bin then all of a sudden one day they have a fire.. Happens all the time for people who don't know but I'll tell you what steel wool and batteries can make you a quick fire if you need one.
