Only 1,000 in mine but most of that has been highway. I'm seeing similar results. The only way to even break 20 is to set the cruise at 55. 72-75 I'm below 18, and it drops below 17 (with a million shifts) if I try to use cruise at that speed. And I live in super-flat central IL.

2016 Sport 4x4 Auto DCLB: roughly 21 highway, 19 mixed, 16-17 commute. My commute is ~2 miles every day, so I don't get great mileage considering it's all stop signs and no time for the engine to warm up.

The highest number I've seen is 23.6 which was on a 40 mile drive down the interstate without a ton of traffic. City trips can see drops tot 17 or lower. Average for me is probably right around 20. It's hard to get it up past 22 IMHO. I'm at about 2k miles now and saw that 23.6 recently so maybe things are breaking in and getting higher. Not sure yet.

4v4 v6 Limited, usually around 21mpg with mostly highway and some city when I get on Fort Hood. Days I don't work, I usually see around 22-23. I don't mash the pedal unless necessary but I also don't granny it either. Not sure what the elevation is here, still fairly warm with 80s during the day and 50s-60s at night. For whatever that is worth when it comes to gas mileage calculation. Also sitting at 13,500 miles.

Just realized I need to account for the bigger tires and do a manual calculation.

I'm getting an average of 25 mpg per week during my commutes to work. No interstate but when I do interstate I try to keep it below 70-75 or the mileage takes a hit down to 22-23.

    Stock Limited Michelin LTX M/S.

    Get the Fuelly app.

I will be doing this and I think the web site shows mpg's for similar vehicles.
Seems like the best way to gauge mpg is at fillip vs. miles driven.
My mileage is much improved - now around 10k and 19-21 mpg average on 18" tires

Actually I drove about 40 miles each way today on the interstate....Rolling hills for the most part at about 70ish mph....No cruise control at all.

The truck said I was averaging 27-28 mpg...

When I'm not on the interstate I've been experimenting with driving in select shift in 5th with excellent results....0-55ish mph

Seems when it doesn't go into 6th it gets better mileage...Unless I'm on the interstate at 60+ mph then I do use 6th.NCM_0444.jpg

Notice I'm in 5th in 50ish mph traffic.....Mileage will vary.

City miles, no highway and I'm getting 18.5 on stock tires, 3 weeks with 750 miles

I'll give that select shift a try and keep it in 5th

SR DCSB 4x4 A/T with sliders, steel skid plate, and my fat ass. I average about 15 mpg city driving. If I stretch my legs I can get 19/20 hwy and only if I drive like an old man.

Now I did manage to get 9 mpg on a tank but then I was in 4 low with the ECT button on while driving like an asshole on dirt roads have a blast. But that doesn't count.

I have a TRD OR with stock tires and factory bed cover. I get between 20-22 on my way to work depending on the traffic lights. It is 10 miles and half highway and half surface roads ranging from 70 mph to 25. On long highway trips I get 22 at 70 mph and significantly less above that. I manage my energy and don't go back and forth between the gas and brake like most people do.

I am about to add 200 lbs of armor. I am curious to see what that does. However as far as I can tell anecdotally the guys without bed covers get 1-3 mpg less and the guys who switch to heavy tires get 2-5 mpg less.

TRD OR; 3 inch lift, no air dam, 285/70/r17...last trip was 70 mph for 2 hours...avg fuel economy was 14.3 (granted it was windy and up a mountain). Way back home (no wind and down the mountain) avg fuel economy was 17.4

45 minute drive to work every day (mix of hwy and stop lights) avg fuel economy = 15.4

Moral of the story, if you like your MPG's don't get her lifted with bigger tires. I was averaging 21 hwy and 17 city...I don't want to dig any deeper into this!

I just added fuelly to my sig. Average as of posting this is 21.8. This is with a 4x2 with the 2.7L, by the way.

I saw a big dip during the summer, I figured it was my lift and tires (which aren't that agressive) but it looks like it was more the A/C running as my mileage has gone back up in cooler weather.

I know the math for getting an extra set of "street only" tires with light alloy wheels and light(er) all-season road tires doesn't add up in terms of saving fuel costs (break-even/payoff is over 80K miles lol) but I still wanna do it just because.
