We went on a trip to Moab and rented a 24' camper so I needed to manage the braking. The controller and wiring harness were about $90 on Amazon. The truck is a TRD Sport. Enjoy!

I just did an install on an 07. Quick question, does your controller stay on all the time? Mine does even with key out of vehicle...?

No. It only powers up with the key on. If you used the plug n play harness it should turn off with the key. If no harness, the power needs come from a switched source.

I used the factory plug under the driver's kick panel, directly to the Prodigy P3. The P3 stays on all the time...

Did you ever find an answer on this? I just installed the P3 and mine also stays on all the time with the truck off. Wired into the factory plug...

After about 10-15 min, it does turn off.
