Whats the biggest size tire I can fit without any trimming? Can I fit 285's?

265 /75/16 is what I have and I think any bigger would rub somewhere.

Are you sure? I've heard of people fitting 33's with a 3 inch leveling kit without trimming on a Tacoma

    First off, welcome to TW!

If you truly don't want to rub AT ALL, then 265/75r16 or 265/70r17 is as large as you can go. That's +1" over stock size. This is also the widest tire that you can run on stock wheels if you don't use wheel spacers.

You can fit 285s with a 2.5" lift with a bit of trimming/cutting (I did) or you can avoid that and you'll PROBABLY be fine driving around town, but as soon as you hit bumps and that tire gets pushed into the wheel well, you will rub. 285s will also kill your MPG because they're generally a lot heavier.

I got 3 inches and I rubbed..had to take off mud flaps, and get CMC. No more rubbing on street, Now I'm only rubbing when i go off roading.
