Well it was kind of funny, I pulled that top piece off to fix the end cap that broke loose and saw the holes:jerkoff:. Worked perfectly.

    Installed the @mobtown off-road sliders!

Be looking for a full write up this week of the install with plenty of tips and tricks (one in particular from Joe)

Got my new Walker Evans wheels mounted up (kind of wanted Methods but these were a lot cheaper on Tirerack and I've got a soft spot for that classic W.E. look) put strut spacers in the front to hold me over on buying coilovers for a little while, and came across a TRD pro grill on my local craigslist to cheap to pass up even though I absolutely could have put that money to better use elsewhere...

Planning to order a set of 255/85/16 Toyo's within the next two weeks, crossing my fingers that they won't take to much trimming to run them between now and when I decide on a more permanent suspension solution.

Thanks! I actually sold the bike today with the intention of picking up a TR500 over the winter! Loved the 450 but at 6'6" I think an XL/27.5 combo will be more suiting for me. And a friend of mine just became a dealer and offered to sell me a brand new one at his cost... so theres that!

Put my first dent in her today! (Other then the accident with the wheel and tire on the interstate, that is!) Loading some firewood, and one of the pieces got away from me and dinged the right bedside.
Oh well, it's a pickup...still peeved about it, though.
If I could just get up inside the fender liner, I might be able to pop it back out...

Weather stripping would fill that gap perfectly. I'd probably go with the rubber/plastic type.

Just put one on mine, I'm no mechanic either. It was a hard job for one person, but I made it. 2 people and this job is very easy. There will be those that say spend more money, my 2" lift does exactly what I wanted it to do, level my truck. Ride is still the same as stock, no difference at all. Had an alignment done afterwards, not even worth trying to correct. Take your time, follow directions, recheck all bolts that you listen, you will be fine.

Met up with a fellow Tacoma world member yesterday and bought their ARE topper, had to take one last picture while there wasn't a topper. Really happy with the how it looks
In other news, I have finally created a build thread; going to finally start uploading the billion pictures I have
