Changing the bed up abit. A dollar fifty in longer hardware for tailgate plate. No more then a few minutes for the ext. with a saw and a dremel.repaired some cargo gouges from previous owner and sprayed bedsides to clean it up over all. color matched a few minor things since I had extra paint already activated.I toned down the chrome all around too thank goodness...Also feelin alil festive if u couldn't tellIMG_0681.jpg IMG_0672.jpg IMG_0682.jpg IMG_0671.jpg

285/70/17 (33"-11.5") is fairly proven to fit. Unless you meant 285/75/17?

Nope. But its a fun cheap little project and it sounds kinda cool. Always reversible aswell.

So many conflicting opinions on this subject since i have been doing research on tw. Have read many threads on here that say it has been dynoed a few times and with the deck plate mod it produces 6-8 more hp with the 3.4l and 5-6 with the 2.7l. :notsure: Also read some threads on some 4-runner forums claiming the same thing per dyno findings. Gets confusing.

Yes they are. They're the stock mirrors from the factory. Would be very useful for the trails you hit.

Maybe a project when you have money just sitting at a corner collecting dust at the bank.

Awesome. I would've stuck with a 2nd gen. I believe Toyota might still be working out the bugs on the 3rd gen tacomas. Plus the extra money likke you said would get you straight up with a lift and some wheels and tires.

I been thinking about getting a bike next summer. Would be great to keep the extra miles away from my truck. Plus gas mileage.

Really love the color! Did you just spray the bed extender with paint and didn't scratch it up or put any plastic adhesive on it?
