Well like stated above, i was waxing my truck last night and when running my microfibre cloth noticed a change in texture on the a pillar( passenger side only)
Also noticed the paint was discolored for aproximatly a 4" section. Just add it to the list of dealer fixups next service.
I love this truck but starting to think these issues are gonna carry on for years to come. Anyone else with paint issues?

    Pics tomorrow .

Do you see any evidence of a repair? The first thing that comes to mind is a bad blend job. Look at your fender, and door for tape lines, over spray, and orange peel consistency. I would also be looking for tool marks on the fasteners. Maybe post some pics.

My particular Texas built truck, has dirt in the clear on almost every panel. Add to that pin holes in the clear on the rear passenger door, and both bedsides. It has poor paint coverage in all door jambs. I can see splotches of primer under the paint when I shine a headlamp into jambs while wiping them down in my dark garage. Hands down the worst factory paint job I have seen.

My truck has some spots where there's dirt in the paint. Our highlander has a clear run on a body line.
Neither one of them had repairs, they came like that from the factory.
That's just made in the USA quality for you.
