Those URD ones are nice, they produce considerably more power than the TRD/Magnuson superchargers. But if I'm not mistaken they require more mods to be done to the truck to accommodate all that added power, so they're more expensive obviously to keep and maintain. I've seen a couple guys on here that are running them. Definitely not as common as the other blowers

The thing to watch out for when buying a used kit is having all the required parts, as missing parts can add up quickly. I would look for an extensive parts list for a new kit and compare to what the seller has. Since the seller bought it used, and never ran it, they don't even likely know what is missing, much less the condition of the supercharger. Buying used I would consider the supercharger needs to possibly be rebuilt.

That kit never sold for $8900 new. That is also not the MKII so don't be fooled by the "Stage 2" lable. That is a hack job of the first URD s/c kit, that they put to market. They have always come with Rotrex superchargers. This one for some reason has a Holset compressor cover on it. Red Flag right there.

I appreciate it. Looks like it'd be too much trouble to save a few dollars...

Don't know anything about the supercharger, but are you from Tifton, GA?? I lived there for 11 years before I moved to Myrtle.
