Not sure where the gun control idea derived from for you guys. But gun control works fine for us up here in Canada. Not worth talking about though. Too touchy of a topic. Will just end up getting the thread locked.

Gun control is something for you guys to decide on in your country. I'm happy with how it works here.

35 years driving O.T.R. in a semi and I've seen people doing about the stupidest things you can imagine while "Driving".
On the phone, shaving, making coffee, watching television(!!), getting dressed, READING A BOOK!!!, changing a baby's diapers(!), and more!
Way too many people out there that are educated FAR beyond their intelligence

It's an old picture, but that's what I drove for quite a while.

lmao, not sure if you guys would've heard about it there. I know everyone knows of Torontos former crack smoking mayor.
but he was also pulled over on the highway for reading the paper while driving too.

There are two different accidents that are getting confused as one. The snap chat is an old one. The one nearly falling over the cliff is recent.

Seriously, they way he so easially acted like it was no big deal. Absolutely absurd. "On the bike", "high speed snapchat" , makes you wanna strangle someone. Specifically that guy, you know he was some 18-19year old kid.

Jeese, Joe... your vocabulary seems to limited to a couple of words...!! You could tone it down a little as we have old guys on here, and maybe even some ladies..!
Just try a bit, OK.? You can still express your opinion without the use of those words..

I was behind a guy the other day that was watching a DVD from the driver seat. He was merging on to a 70 mph interstate. I thought having a DVD player visible to the driver was illegal. Saw a lady last week that plowed in to the back of a tractor trailer. Judging by damage she had to have hit at 25-30 mph. She was walking in left lane on her phone. First thought was she was on it at impact.

Passenger and driver sun visor display monitors. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/282196837669?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

Saw a guy watching a movie on one of those while in traffic. I got the heck away ASAP. Unbelievable.

Ten years ago or so a young woman plowed into the back of a Winnebago sitting in the breakdown lane on the interstate here. She died immediately.

She'd been doing her make up on her way to work.

That's why those monitors are set up to only work with the parking brake engaged, however, many people mod them by grounding the sense wire and allowing it to play while driving. Anything behind the driver is o.k. to be playing while driving, but the dash monitor should not.
